WAIT LONG LONG. smart ass eh, drop hints to me. HAHAHAHA. i think i am a little bastard here. i am asking all my friends who drop by Orchard Road to have lunch with me. LOL. because i have this male colleague who has a very irregular lunch pattern/hour. and he is going overseas next week for a few days. somehow, i manage to find friends to dine with. thats great.

TIME TO SERVE THE NATION SOON

before i start, my laptop is in a bad state; ENTER & BACKSPACE keypads are offically dead. Thus, so sorry not being able to paragraph my entry. Enlistment letter came knocking on me yesterday (Friday), i’m in the early batch instead of October. i thank God for that because i dont really want to spend my time waiting till October, neither do i want to work until August or September. My life is a routine right now. For weekdays, rise and shine in the morning, work all the way till evening. Work has been fine. Colleagues are not too bad too! There’s something to motivate me at work now! I’m able to use the gym, hehe i work around the Orchard area and i am going to try jogging at Botanic Gardens next time. The toilets at my office are damn CLEAN and the smell is damn FRESH. OMG, just like a 5 start hotel toilet! No kidding. Shall blog more in future about this. Hopefully i am able to plan out some holidays with my family and friends before i enlist!

HIGHEST QUALIFICATION: DIPLOMA

hello folks, my examination results were release few days ago
and i am PROUD to declare that
i am a Diploma-kia now!

My results were pretty satisfying
getting B+ for my core modules
and an A grade for my Communication Skill
but overall GPA is almost close to a 3.0

3 years stuying at Polytechnic is no easy task
not forgetting the programming & lab lessons
which i still have no idea about it
my knowledge is ZERO,
thanks to all my classmates who helped me along the way!

the copying of work, thumb-driving of work, the cheating @ classes etc…
the after-school outings, the skipping of lectures, the jokes in classes,
the train journey home, the gossips there are forever ongoing
and more and more and more

the most “shocking” thing i did was to fake an MC for my common test in Year 2
because i studied for the WRONG PAPER on the exam day
and i was standing outside the exam hall doing last minute revision
LUCKILY my friend realise it, if not i am so dead
so i immediately went to Marsiling Polyclinic to get an MC

i was just looking at some of the photo folders
and the places we went like
Chinatown for CNY, Dim Sum & sushi buffets, Nebo for boardgames,
places for birthday celebrations etc…
times flies so fast, haha

My 3 months attachment was a total breeze,
too bad it was not graded, damn
but i had total fun!
i get to surf the web everyday, visit government boards, Police Coast Guard etc…
though attachment students are always doing sai-kang jobs like
stock check, labelling
i think i am pretty lucky as i am attached to a Singapore-based company
with a pretty slack job scope
unlike some of my many other friends who are located in a ulu-ulu company
and doing tough work!
Not forgetting the people i have known there and worked with
especially with my NTU partner who is also on attachment
we kept laughing at the NUS student who came much later
and he keeps TALKING NON-STOP

the worst period of my poly days is my freaking FYP
it sucks! because i had no idea what to do
and i hate to be trap in a room from 830am to 6pm,
staring @ the computer creating diagrams etc…
everyday to school was a total boredom to me
Furthermore, some of my friends were
@ attachment while i was @ FYP
and when i was @ FYP, they were @ attachment

all the lecturers who taught me did not really
leave me a big impression
but my Year 3 lecturers knew every one of us
as it was a small class due to the classification according to our specialization
HAHA, thanks to all of them who pass me with flying colours

overall, i had a good time @ poly
fun, enjoying & relaxing except during exam periods
i suppose Graduation Day will occur in May or June
